Daily coronavirus cases in Greece may have been steadily below 10,000 in the last couple of weeks, however, the positivity index is a cause for concern for the health experts in the country.
Reason for concern is the fact that in 13 regional units out of 63 in total the positivity rate is over 10%.
It should be noted that health experts consider positivity rate over 4% and above is the risk limit and the area is marked as “red.”
According to EODY official data for the time April 15 – May 1, 2022 the median positivity rate was 5.05% out of a total of 931,267 laboratory tests (RT-PCR / Rapid-Ag).
Admission to hospitals of Covid patients were 1,200, while the total number of discharges due to healing was 1,178.
